Through these partnerships, we strive to enhance the educational experience and opportunities available to our students. The partnerships we have developed play an important role in supporting and modeling our character traits of RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY through community service. These partnerships have proven to be invaluable in expanding our reach and impact. Let us introduce you to our circle of community partners.

Open M: Open M is a respected organization dedicated to empowering the underserved through various programs and initiatives. Each month our staff takes part in a FUNraiser to buy food to create 75-100 lunches. These lunches are put together by the students and delivered to OPEN M the last week of the month and distributed to those who need a meal. This is a way for our students to show compassion.

The Salvation Army: The Salvation Army of Summit County has served Akron and surrounding communities since 1884 — 136 years of commitment. The dedicated staff and committed volunteers of the Summit County unit work every day to provide tangible assistance through programs that are not generic or one-size-fits-all but are flexible to provide the right assistance needed at the right times to the right people. One of The Salvation Army of Summit County’s goals is to: Serve as a unifying force that is welcomed by, respected by, and able to bring together all elements of our community – those in a position to give and those in a place of need. This is where we partner. Every 2nd Wednesday, staff and students spend 2-3 hours passing out groceries to those in need. This is a great way for staff and students to GIVE BACK.

By engaging with organizations that share our commitment to our ABC’s- Academic Growth, Building Relationships, and Community Partnerships, we can provide a well-rounded education that prepares our students for a brighter today and tomorrow.
